Organizing Time!

Description

In this activity, students read one of a selection of biographies and identify the textual organizers of time within it. They then share their findings to create a class-wide referential. Two biographies from the Centre franco online textbooks are used in the "J'apprends" section of the activity where students must read the texts and identify the characteristics of a biography. Two other biographies from the Centre franco are proposed in the "Je passe à l'action" section where the student must choose one of the two texts and then find and note the textual organizers. When you open the links to the resources, you will be prompted to choose an Ontario French-language school board and log in to a school account. If this is not possible, you can find other biographies to use with your child to complete the activity.
