Grade 6

This strand allows students to interpret, create, and develop an awareness of their space through the principles of theatre, stimulating their understanding of diversity across time and cultures.

This strand encourages reflective work applied to works and those of the historical continuum. Using the steps of the creative process and the critical analysis process, students will give free rein to their imagination with several modes of expression.

This strand allows the student to understand another form of expression that exists through movement and of which the human body is the instrument. The importance of physiological, health and safety factors for a complete experience of creative expression and control of the body is stressed.

This strand allows students to develop their interpretive and creative skills. Through experience and discovery, students will understand the language of music, its historical and cultural context, and the effects of experience.
